Death Trap is a 2D retro-style platformer where players control a stickman character to navigate across platforms, avoid dangerous spike traps, and reach the exit door to progress to the next level. Each level increases in difficulty with more spike obstacles, testing reflexes and timing.
Death Trap delivers simple, addictive platforming fun with a charming retro aesthetic. The gameplay loop—move, avoid spikes, reach the door—is easy to pick up, making it perfect for quick sessions. While the core mechanics are straightforward, the increasing difficulty keeps it engaging. However, it lacks more varied obstacles or power-ups, which might leave some wanting more depth.
Highlights:

Level 1 kicks off with our stickman buddy raring to go (and not yet scared of those tiny spikes)

Our hero reaches the Level 1 exit! Take that, puny spikes—you’re no match for stick legs!

Level 2 loads up, and it’s déjà vu: same spikes, same door, same determined stickman

Level 3 throws double the spikes! Our stickman’s like, ‘Two spike piles? Challenge accepted!’
Instructions:
Use the left/right arrow keys (or on-screen arrows) to move the stickman. Press the up arrow (or on-screen jump button) to jump. Avoid touching the black spike traps—they’ll reset you to the start of the level. Reach the blue exit door to complete the level and move to the next one.
